Winner, Winner!

I love entering contests to win cool stuff. Do I ever win? No.
But for some reason I still love it.

As a small business owner, it’s super fun to host a giveaway.
I try to make the prize appealing and interesting.
And I also put out there to The Universe that whomever wins will
truly enjoy it and it will bring joy to their life.

This past giveaway was no different. I planned a fun prize, promoted it and
hoped that the winner would be happy enough to scream
“Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!” when they learned they’d won.

I was surprised when I felt like a winner too.

Here’s the story:

I emailed the winner, asking for her mailing address, and telling her it would
make me really sad to not hear from her and not be able to send her the prize.

She writes back “OMG! I WON! I love your stuff”

Coolio. I love giving back to my loyal customers, this is great!

Then she writes “Can I call you? I have to tell you a story”

Storytime? Sure, I’m in. Let me just get my blankie and stuffed animals.

She calls, her voice is so happy. She immediately makes me smile.

She tells me again how much she loves TSH’s products….
now I’m starting to blush a little. My TSH Peeps are so awesome.

Then she tells me that she had asked for an essential oil diffuser for her birthday
and did not get one. TSH, making wishes come true….she just won one!!!

And then she shares this story (I’m totally ad-libbing and para-phrasing here):
She had a friend who adopted a rescue dog. When they went to pick her up,
she was covered with ticks (poor, sweet baby puppy).
They had nothing around them but TSH Bug Away.
So, they sprayed the dogs back and some crazy amount of ticks, like ten or fifteen,
jumped off that poor puppy to get away from the Bug Away!!!

Hearing this made me sooooo excited! My customer was happy.

We were both a little amazed. I’m darn proud.

rescue dog

This is our recuse dog, Chippewa. When our 13 YO black lab mix, Isabella,
finally went to the Rainbow Bridge, I cried everyday for a month.
My husband took it up on himself to help me heal, and rescued this beauty.
I always say "We rescued each other"

Rescue is my favorite breed of dog.

And my creation helped a rescue dog.

I feel like a winner too.

Peace, Kim
